Cookie Policy – iconclarity.com

Last updated: July 30, 2025

This document contains information about the technologies that enable this website ("we", "our") to function as intended and to fulfill the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Controller to collect and store information (e.g., through Cookies) or to use resources on the User’s device while interacting with the website.

For simplicity, these technologies are referred to as “Tracking Tools.” Where necessary, we distinguish between them. For example, although Cookies may be used in web and mobile browsers, the term “Cookie” is used here specifically to indicate that particular type of browser-based tracking technology.

Some purposes of using Tracking Tools may require the User’s consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by following the instructions in this document.

This website uses both:

  • First-party Tracking Tools, managed directly by us
  • Third-party Tracking Tools, enabling services provided by external parties

The duration of cookies and other tracking technologies may vary depending on what is set by the Controller or each provider. Some expire at the end of the browsing session.

1. Types of Tracking Tools Used

  • Technical cookies: essential for website operation and security.
  • Analytics and profiling cookies: used to associate sessions and interactions to identifiable users (via identifiers like user ID), to analyze behavior and usage patterns across time.

Tracking for profiling purposes is only carried out after the User has given explicit and informed consent.

3. Managing Preferences

Users can manage cookie preferences through:

  • The cookie banner shown on first visit
  • The “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer
  • Their browser settings

Disabling technical cookies may impair the functionality of the website.

4. External Services Using Tracking Tools

  • PostHog Cloud (UK/US): analytics and behavioral profiling platform. When used with identify(), it tracks and associates events to identified users for usage analysis and product optimization. Requires user consent under GDPR Articles 6(1)(a) and 22(1).
  • Mailtrap: used for transactional email diagnostics; does not set cookies.
  • Claude (Anthropic) and OpenAI API: AI tools used for on-demand processing; no training or retention of data.

5. Limitations in Control of Third-Party Tools

Since the use of third-party Tracking Tools cannot be fully controlled by us, any specific reference to them should be considered indicative. For full details, please consult the privacy policies of the respective third-party services.

Due to the complexity of tracking technologies, users are encouraged to contact us if they want more information.
